Another BRING OUT THE BROOMS Weekend; Titans swept!

The Bay State Bobcats kept their hot streak going with 2 big wins over the Mass Titans, 4-3 and 5-3 respectfully.

Mass 3 @ Bay State 4 (SO) – On Saturday night, John Kosa tallied the lone goal of the shootout in the seventh round to help the Bobcats past the Titans 4-3 on Saturday. Landon Boothe, Jerzy Gus and Zakary Justice lit the lamp for Bay State during the first 60 minutes, while Brett Bell, Philippe Doucette and Brandon Avezov did the same for Mass. Zack Roncarati earned the win with 37 saves and seven more in the shootout, just outmatching Ethan Kavanaugh’s 41 saves in the Titans’ cage.

Mass 3 @ Bay State 5 – On Sunday, John Kosa had a career night as he tallied 2 goals and 2 assists for 4 total points in the game. Nathan Moffitt stood tall in net as he kicked away 33 shots for the win. Landon Boothe, James Sandison, and JayVon Fogelgren also scored for the winners.

With the weekend sweep over the Titans, the ‘Cats clinched a Playoff Spot. The squad will grab the #4 seed and open up the 2021 NA3HL East Division Playoffs against the #5 seeded New England Sharks on Tuesday. For the full opening round schedule, please see below.
