Bobcats 6 @ Titans 5 (SO) – The Bobcats mounted a furious comeback in the 3rd period to tie the game and then were victorious in a shoot-out in a 6-5 win in the lone NA3HL game on Thursday.
The Titans took a 1-0 lead in the 1st period with a goal from Brett Bell. That was answered later in the period by Bobcats forward Karl Nordin who tied the game at 1-1.
In the 2nd period, the Titans went ahead 3-1 with goals from Joe Melillo and George Haigley. The Bobcats cut the lead down to 3-2 later in the period as Dylan Gallagher scored.
In the 3rd period, things were looking good for the Titans as they went ahead 5-2 thanks to goals from Philippe Doucette and Nick Byron. The Bobcats mounted their comeback later in the 3rd period thanks to three goals in a 10-minute span including two from Landon Boothe and another from JayVon Fogelgren.
In the shootout, the Bobcats scored three out of four tries, including the winner from Troy Harwell.
Bobcats goalie Zack Roncarati made 28 saves in the win, while Ethan Kavanaugh made 32 saves in the shootout loss.
