The Binghamton Junior Senators are thrilled to announce that Markus Cook has signed a tender agreement with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights in the North American Hockey League (NAHL).
Cook is in his first season with the Junior Senators and is currently 13th in the NA3HL in scoring with 35 goals and 46 assists, for 81 points.
“Markus is a kid who goes to the weight room and rink everyday and works his tail off. He has led my example all year long on the ice and has had a great season with us. He is one of the hardest workers that I have ever coached and I am thrilled for this opportunity for him,” Head Coach, Anthony Langevin, was quoted saying.
Cook will head to the Knights at the end of the Junior Senators’ season, which will hopefully be after the National Championship game in Chicago, Illinois at the end of March. Congratulations to Markus and his Family on the incredible accomplishment and go Knights!
