Navy and Gold drop tight 3-2 decision in Attleboro

The Bay State Bobcats traveled to Attleboro, MA yesterday for a 12:30pm puck drop. Although Goaltender Jacob King was phenomenal in net, it wasn’t enough as the 1st place Northeast Generals defeated the ‘Cats by a 3-2 score.

 

 

Bay State 2 @ Northeast 3 – It took two 3rd period goals for the Generals to come from behind and beat the Bobcats, 3-2. Caiden Hess scored twice for Northeast, including the game’s opening goal in the 1st period. The Bobcats had an answer as they took a 2-1 lead through two period with goals from William Jasmin and Ryan Janik. In the 3rd period, the Generals came from behind with goals from Matthew Nuzzolilo and the second of the game from Hess to complete the 3-2 win. Luke Fundator made 13 saves in the win, while Bobcats goalie Jacob King was stellar in the loss with 62 saves.

 

 

The Navy and Gold are back in action tomorrow at Norwich, CT to face off against the Sea Captains and also on Sunday at Attleboro, MA to play the Northeast Generals, once again. Catch all the action on HockeyTV.
