The Bay State Bobcats are thrilled to announce that Forward/Defenseman Ian Skinner (2001 birth year) has signed a North American Hockey League (NAHL) tender agreement with the New Mexico Ice Wolves.
Skinner was a force on the ice this season, as he dressed in all 40 games this season for the ‘Cats. He jumped from Defense to Forward and vice versa depending on game situations and the need of the team. He always puts himself above the team.
“Ian is one of the hardest workers who I have ever coached,” Head Coach Anthony Langevin was quoted saying. “His work ethic is through the roof. His goal was to make the North American Hockey League, and he has done just that. I couldn’t be more proud and excited for him in taking this next step in his development. It was an absolute pleasure to have him wear the Navy and Gold for the past 2 seasons. I can’t wait to follow him with New Mexico for this upcoming season.”
Congratulations to Ian and his Family on a phenomenal opportunity. We also wish him and the Ice Wolves a successful season on the ice!
